Submit the claim, supporting document and business reason and follow its status.

People Impressions keeps the amount, purpose, receipt, review stages and processing status attached to the claim. The manager checks business context. Finance verifies the financial details. The employee can follow what happens next.
The principle
Approval is not payment. Each hand-off—from claim to manager, Finance and payroll—needs language that describes what has actually happened.
Who uses it
Submit the claim, supporting document and business reason and follow its status.
Review the business purpose without taking over Finance verification.
Verify the financial details, return questions and approve the authorised input.
Receive the approved adjustment against the correct period when payroll is included.
What you can do
Amount, category, purpose and source information captured together.
Supporting evidence retained with the claim.
A business-context decision by the appropriate reporting manager.
A separate financial check with a return or rejection reason where needed.
The requester cannot approve their own claim.
Approved claims can be traced into the appropriate payroll input.
Digital Impressions Connect
Connect implements employee claim submission, attachments, manager review, Finance approval, self-approval prevention, audit history and a source-linked payroll adjustment.
What improves
What we configure
Useful questions
No. The Connect workflow prevents the requester from approving their own claim.
When payroll is part of the setup, the authorised amount can be queued as a source-linked payroll input. That status does not claim that payment has already happened.
The workflow can retain the returned status and reason so the employee knows what must be corrected.
